I will enter any contest you have Nicole. I am dying to get more pics taken by you! I know I no longer live there, but I will be coming home sometime right? My worst photography experience was when I took Jackson as a three month old to Target and we were two minutes late, she just coldly said, "You're late, we won't help you." I wanted to cry, I spent all morning planning his outfit, bathing him, making sure he was well-rested and fed and was so dissapointed!

I don't have any horrible experiences, but Stephen and I tend to have fights when we do photos! We were fighting when we got our engagement photos taken, and then when we had family photos just after Lilybeth was born. We really need new family photos with the new babe, and I'd love to have you do them! So pick me!

We went to a studio when my now 4 year old was a newborn and the photographer had no idea about placement or ideas or anything. So I ended up with a shot that catches me from the side with my thigh and back-side as a large border on one side of the shot. I HATE that picture but can't get rid of it because it is one of the only ones I have with my grandmother and all 3 boys in it.

My worst photography session was when my daughter was 3. She was being difficult so they made me lay on a table and they set her on my stomach. They took her photos, but failed to crop my belly out of the photos. Not the most flattering photo. Anyway, we would love, love to win your mini session. My husband is in Afghanistan for a year and what a wonderful suprrise it would be to send him some nice photos of the family he has left behind.

I've heard great things about you! I have 2 bad experiences for you. One was at a JC Penneys studio. They didnt open until 11 and we got the first available spot at 11:30. My kids were 3 and 1. We got there early and waited til almost 12 before they got us in because they went over on the one before us. The kids were hungry and tired and gave us so much trouble and the girl wasnt any help either. She kept yelling at them to sit still. They were 3 and 1!! Anyways, we were so frustrated that we didnt even finish the session and went home without purchasing anything. lol Serves her right!

The second experience was just this summer. We now have 3 boys, 8, 6, and 2. We were driving to Idaho from Logan and were supposed to get family pics taken with my parents and siblings. We left early so we could get there and change our clothes. On the way, my 2 yr old threw up on himself 4 different times, exhausting our clothing choices. When we finally got to the park in Idaho where we were taking pics, the lady showed up 30 min late. My 2 yr old was sleepy, sick and grumpy and wouldnt even look at the camera. It was an ORDEAL! I think we got one or two pics out of the whole thing...

So, to sum up my NOVEL of a post. WE NEED PICS!!!

It is really hard to get seven people ready for pictures much less have any decent ones that you would want to frame. I love that alot of your photos look spontanious. You really know how to capture a shot! Please help me and all our kidlets! Our worst experience was when we hit the mountains to get pictures done. The guy was a profesional but didn't place us well. We had to do alot of that ourselves. By the way it was light drizzling all through the shoot. We all looked like total crap!! ~Karen

Once we had to wait in a studio with my 3 month old. By the time they got to us, his face was blotchy from crying. It was horrible.
We would love to try out this mini-session with you!

Yay!! Good for you friend, so exciting!! I would love a mini session!! My worst experience was taking Chloe as a nine day old, and she cried the entire time.............. we sat in a small, hot room and all she did was cry. It was so sad, we never had Lily's done because of it
:( love ya girl, happy for you!!

I don't know your work...yet;) But a friend sent me to your page. I would LOVE a mini shoot. I am prego & due in October & would love a maternity or baby shoot. My worst experience was my last maternity shoot took place @ this lady's home. I was in the bathroom figuring out what to wear & one of her kids walked in on my big 35 week naked pregnant self, the look he gave me was pretty sad.:)

I don't live close, but just for fun I thought I'd put in my worst experience. It was my WEDDING...I have NO pictures. We hired Bach photography--reputable right--but when he ended up going out of town last minute he sent his son who apparently was not a photographer. His son didn't know which hole to plug the flash into, so all of our pictures were BLACK!!! That was before digital cameras were big, so we have a few pixelated shots taken by family members. Plus, he still charged us and since I was in another state by then and not able to fight it, my mon paid it! Still makes me mad.

I'd have to meet you in Btown, but that's a possibility.

Nic, I'd say my worst photo shoots were when my kids were little and I looked exhausted from giving birth! Now that I am older and a grandma I want pictures where I look great!! Haha, how selfish is that?? Very! But I've got the most cutest grandbaby, who looks just like his daddy did, that I want proud pictures of! Plus I am SO in love with my man after all these years that I want it in pictures! The last family pictures we have that were professionally taken Kellen was still in braces and Katie had a perm! I'd say it's time! Shamefully I'll say, please pick me. PICK ME! Oh...and once many many many moons ago I tried boudoir photography.... hahaha. I just won't go there in writing. You'd need to clean up after throwing up while reading it......
Your pictures are so readable and spark smiles on my face always. Thank you for your gift of conveying a true story.

Worst photography shoot had to have been my wedding. We didn't get a professional and now I regret it. I also had a hideous, huge, bright yellow orchid pinned onto my dress and because I was so into the moment I didn't realize that it was on me until I saw the pictures.
